Which Option Is Right for You?
Most patients fall into one of three patterns. Use this as a starting point — you can always switch plans later, and every per-visit booking can be converted toward a subscription if your needs change.
Acute & Occasional
Per-Visit Pricing
You need a one-off visit for a UTI, sinus infection, sore throat, rash, or similar episode. No commitment, pay per visit. Best when you expect 1–2 visits per year.
Ongoing Care
Subscription Plan
You have a chronic condition (hypertension, anxiety, GERD, eczema, recurrent UTIs) or want unlimited messaging access to a provider. Pays off after roughly 1 visit per month.
Financial Hardship
Community Care Visit
$23 self-attested rate, one visit every six months. No documentation required. Designed so cost is not the reason someone goes without care.
Additional Costs
If your provider orders labs, X-rays, ultrasounds, or other diagnostic services, these are performed by third-party facilities and billed separately at their rates. Innocre does not mark up or profit from external service costs.
Common third-party costs to be aware of:
- Lab work (LabCorp or Quest) — typical self-pay rates range from $15 for a urinalysis to $150–$300 for a comprehensive STI panel.
- Prescription medications — paid at your pharmacy. We will tell you the typical cash price before you leave the visit so you can compare GoodRx, Cost Plus Drug Company, and your insurance.
- Imaging or in-person referrals — billed directly by the imaging center or specialist.
HSA / FSA Eligibility
Innocre telehealth visits are an IRS-qualified medical expense, so they are eligible for payment with a Health Savings Account (HSA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) card. You can pay directly at booking with your HSA/FSA debit card — no separate reimbursement claim required.
Subscription plans, per-visit fees, and most prescriptions all qualify. If your HSA/FSA administrator requests itemized documentation, request a superbill at atulsv@innocre.org and we will send one the same business day.
What Is Not Included
We believe in being upfront about what telehealth at this price cannot do. The following are not part of any Innocre plan:
- Controlled substances (Schedule II–V), including ADHD stimulants, opioids, benzodiazepines, and most sleep medications.
- Antipsychotic medications and most complex psychiatric medication management.
- Emergency or after-hours acute care — if you need urgent attention outside scheduled visits, please call 911 or visit an urgent care or emergency department.
- In-person physical exams, procedures, imaging, or injections.
- Workers' comp, disability, or attorney-requested documentation.
Pricing FAQ
Why are you a self-pay practice instead of taking insurance?
Insurance contracts dictate visit length, documentation requirements, and what conditions can be discussed. By staying self-pay, we keep visits flexible and avoid the overhead of billing third parties — which is how the same visit can cost $68 instead of the $150–$300 typical of urgent-care telehealth.
Can I get reimbursed by my insurance?
Possibly. We provide a superbill on request that you can submit to your plan for out-of-network reimbursement. Coverage varies widely — some patients are reimbursed in full, others partially, and PPO plans tend to do better than HMOs. Call your insurer's member-services line and ask about out-of-network telemedicine reimbursement before assuming.
What if I need more than two visits in a week on the subscription?
If you genuinely need a third visit in a single week we will book it without additional charge — the two-per-week guidance is to manage expectations, not a hard wall. If a pattern of higher visit volume continues, we will discuss whether a different care arrangement makes more sense for you.
Will I be charged for messaging my provider between visits?
Subscribers can message their provider unlimited times during their subscription period at no additional cost. Per-visit (non-subscription) patients are welcome to message about follow-up to a recent visit at no charge; messages requiring a new clinical assessment will be converted to a Follow-Up Visit ($65) with your consent before the work is done.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
Same-day and next-day slots are available most weekdays. Subscribers get priority scheduling and access to evenings and weekends. There is no fee for booking a same-day appointment.
What happens if I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel anytime by emailing or calling us. The subscription continues through the end of the current billing period — you keep your remaining included visits — and does not auto-renew. See our Subscription Policy for the full details, including pro-rated refund rules for the 6-month plan.
Do you treat patients in states other than MD, WA, and DE?
Not at this time. Telehealth is regulated state-by-state, and our clinical license is currently active in Maryland, Washington, and Delaware. If you are a resident of another state and would like to be notified when we expand, email us — we track demand and prioritize states with the most patient interest.
What's Included in Every Visit
Every telehealth visit includes:
- Real-time video or audio consultation with a board-certified provider
- Clinical evaluation, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment plan
- Electronic prescriptions sent directly to your pharmacy (when clinically appropriate)
- Clinical documentation maintained in your secure medical record
- Follow-up care instructions
Payment
Innocre is a self-pay practice. We do not bill insurance directly. Payment is due at the time of booking.
We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards.
Superbills are provided upon request so you can submit to your insurer for possible out-of-network reimbursement.
